TOP COAT – TERMS OF SERVICE, MEDIA RELEASE & PRIVACY POLICY

WEBSITE OWNER, THE OFFERING, AND BINDING OF TERMS

This website is owned and operated by GoDaddy on behalf of Top Coat. These Terms set the conditions under which you may use our website and services. The website provides information about beauty services offered at our physical location. By using the website or booking system, you agree to these Terms.

These terms are a legal agreement between you, the “client,” and Top Coat, for all interactions—online and in person.


GENERAL

Top Coat uses GoDaddy to host and manage our website and Square for all bookings and payments. Services are provided by Top Coat or affiliated technicians at our studio. All appointments, confirmations, and client communication go through our Square booking system or the website contact page.


BOOKING DURATIONS

Times listed beside each service are estimates. Actual duration may vary based on service scope, client needs, or individual conditions.


BOOKING ONLINE OR IN-PERSON

Appointments can be made through Square, in person at the time of your service, or by messaging your service provider directly. Your name, phone number, and email are required to confirm all bookings.

 A valid credit card on file via Square may be required to hold appointments.


PRICING & PAYMENT TERMS

Clients are provided a clear breakdown of pricing before each service. By booking, the client agrees to pay the full amount. If a service cannot be completed due to the client’s actions or health information not disclosed, full payment is still required.


SERVICE GUARANTEE & FIXES

Service-related concerns must be submitted in writing within 72 hours of your appointment. If it is determined to be a service-related issue, a fix may be offered based on technician availability.

For maintenance-based services, timelines (e.g. fill periods) will be explained in service descriptions or during your appointment.


AFTERCARE & CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY

Clients are expected to follow all aftercare instructions given. Damage caused by improper aftercare, neglect, or external factors is not the responsibility of Top Coat. Fixes for such damage are not complimentary.


LATE ARRIVALS

If you're late, your service may be shortened, adjusted, or canceled. You may still be charged in full.


DECLINED SERVICES

We reserve the right to refuse service for any reason, including repeated lateness, no-shows, or inappropriate behavior.


REFUNDS & FINAL SALE

All services are final sale. No refunds will be given once a service is completed. Redos or store credit may be offered at our discretion. Refunds are not guaranteed. Any cancellation fees are non-refundable.


CANCELLATIONS, NO-SHOWS & CHARGEBACKS

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged 50% of the scheduled service total. No-shows are subject to the same charge. Clients agree not to dispute or charge back service fees.


NO-SHOWS

If you miss your appointment without notice, you will be charged 50% of the scheduled total. You may not be able to book again unless you pay a non-refundable 50% retainer in advance. Future bookings may require a retainer.


MEDIA RELEASE & CONSENT TO MEDIA USAGE

By booking, clients consent to Top Coat capturing photos or videos of their service results for use in promotional materials, including social media, website, and marketing.

No names or identifying features will be used without written permission. Audio is muted and faces are blurred unless permission is given.

Clients may revoke future consent in writing. Previously published content will not be removed. This applies to all services and providers under Top Coat.


HEALTH & SAFETY DISCLOSURE

Services may involve tools, products, or chemicals that could cause irritation or reactions. Beauty services are not medical treatment. Clients are responsible for disclosing medical conditions, medications, allergies, or sensitivities before the service. Top Coat does not offer medical advice or diagnoses.


LIABILITY WAIVER

Clients waive all liability claims against Top Coat, its owners, team members, and affiliates. This includes dissatisfaction, injury, reaction, or any issue occurring during or after service. Clients are responsible for giving accurate health information and following instructions.


CREDIT CARD ON FILE

To secure appointments, a valid credit card may be required through Square. By booking, the client authorizes Top Coat to charge the card on file under the following conditions:


Cancellations under 24 hours: 50% of scheduled service

 

No-shows: 50% of scheduled service

 

Failure to pay at time of service: Full service amount may be charged

 

Card details are encrypted and securely stored via Square. Top Coat does not have direct access to full card numbers.

In the event of a no-show, clients may be required to pay a non-refundable retainer in order to rebook. Repeat no-shows or unpaid charges may result in the client not being welcomed back or declined future bookings.


OWNERSHIP OF CONTENT

All photos, videos, branding, and text on our website, social platforms, and booking system are owned by Top Coat. No content may be copied, reused, or distributed without written permission.


USE OF INFORMATION

Your information is used to confirm appointments, send reminders, respond to messages, and deliver services. Your data is only shared with secure platforms such as Square and GoDaddy.


COOKIES & TRACKING

Our website may use cookies to improve your browsing experience. You may manage cookie settings through your browser at any time.


YOUR RIGHTS

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us.


DATA STORAGE

Client data is securely stored through GoDaddy and Square, both of which follow standard encryption and security measures.


CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these terms at any time without notice. Continued use of our services means you agree to the most current version.
